Dr. Pelin Buruk is a clinical psychologist specializing in individual psychotherapy, with a professional background that combines psychology with extensive corporate leadership experience. Before transitioning into psychotherapy, she built a 16-year career in human resources management and executive search, gaining in-depth expertise in leadership assessment and executive recruitment.

In her final corporate role, she served as HR Manager at n11.com, where she oversaw all recruitment processes from the company’s foundation stage and structured its HR systems. Prior to that, she worked at Turkish Economy Bank, Goodyear Tires, and Evyap A.Ş., and was a senior consultant at Profil International and Ray & Berndtson Executive Search, providing advisory services to leading companies such as Turkcell, Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Pfizer, Yapı Kredi Group, and Total Oil.

Her Adler coaching training during her HR career revealed her passion for supporting individuals through transformation processes. Realizing the limitations of coaching alone, she pursued a degree in psychology, followed by a master’s and PhD in clinical psychology. Alongside her clinical practice, she has taught undergraduate and graduate psychology courses at several universities and has published academic work in national and international peer-reviewed journals.

Dr. Buruk has received extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Schema Therapy, Gestalt, Somatic Experiencing, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy, and works with an integrative psychotherapy approach.
